Good mat for protecting your stove. NOT suitable for cooking on top of this cover. material is rubber and will melt for sure. The advert says that your pots will be stable while cooking. I would recommend not to do that. I bought this cover just for protection and the possibility to set something aside in order to have more space in my kitchen. It serves that purpose well.
